  • 2 cups mung bean sprouts
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 1 bell pepper sliced
  • 1/2 onion thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Heat sesame oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sliced onion. Stir-fry for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the julienned carrot and sliced bell pepper to the pan. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
  • Add the mung bean sprouts to the pan. Stir-fry for about 1-2 minutes until the sprouts are crisp-tender.
  • Add soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using) to the pan. Toss to coat all the ingredients evenly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • Optional: cooked protein of your choice chicken, tofu, shrimp
  • Cook rice or noodles for serving


  • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
