2cupsbrown mustard microgreens
1/2cupfresh basil leaves
1/4cupgrated Parmesan cheese
1/4cuppine nuts or walnuts
2clovesgarlic
1/4cupextra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooked pasta of your choice
Instructions
In a food processor, combine the brown mustard microgreens, basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts or walnuts, and garlic. Pulse until coarsely chopped.
Slowly add the olive oil while the food processor is running until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Toss the pesto with cooked pasta until well coated. Serve the pasta warm and garnish with extra brown mustard microgreens.
