1 tbsp produces 4-6 oz of microgreens

Planting Instructions

SEED VOLUME 3/4 tbsp seeds
GROW LIGHT 8-12 Hrs/day
GROW MEDIUM Micro Lid
NUTRIENTS Optional
TIME TO HARVEST 7 days
  1. Near a sink, use Aquatree scoop to place 3/4 tbsp of seeds into the Micro Lid
  2. Rinse seeds using the Micro Lid as a strainer
    1. Note: Use the spray feature of your faucet with low volume to avoid splashing
  3. Evenly distribute the seeds on the base of the Micro Lid
  4. Insert the Micro Lid into an available Irrigation Tray on your Aquatree
  5. Fill the Tank with water
  6. Plug in pump to turn on your Aquatree Garden
  7. Microgreens do not need light until after germination
  8. After seed germination, turn on the Grow lights with an outlet timer for 8-10 per day

Recommendation: Water will be consumed by the plants as they grow, add water as necessary to maintain tank level

Harvesting Instructions

  1. Turn off your Aquatree about 10-15 minutes before you want to harvest allowing your trays to drain thoroughly
  2. Remove the Irrigation Tray you plan to harvest from the Aquatree and take to your sink
    1. Note: Keep the end connected to the Aquatree pointed up to avoid water dripping
  3. Lift the Micro Lid off the Tray and use a sharp knife to cut the roots off the bottom of the Micro Lid
    1. Note: Always make cuts in the direction away from your body/hands
  4. Remove your microgreens from the top of the Micro Lid and prepare for your meal or store in a container in your refrigerator
    1. Note: You may want to cut off the husks at the bottom of the remaining roots
  5. Clean Trays and Micro Lids with soap and water or in the dishwasher

CONGRATULATIONS: You are now ready to set up a new tray for planting
